White, collecting 114 votes, beat Jesse Cantu for the spot. Cantu received 55 votes.
James E. Hilscher was elected director of Drainage District No. 2’s Place 3 by almost a 2-to-1 margin.
Hilscher, with 83 votes, beat Arnulfo Reyes and Leland “Louie” Lang for the position. Reyes received 49 votes to Lang’s 28.
Justin “Bubba” Leita, Victor Neisser and Thomas Cartwright were elected directors of Drainage District No. 3. Leita received 463 votes, Neisser 401, and Cartwright 388. A fourth candidate, Duane Beal, received 113 votes.
Gordon Alford and Elroy C. Alex Jr. were elected directors of Water Control and Improvement District No. 1 in Bloomington. Alford received 73 votes and Alex received 72 votes.
Two other candidates were Jackey Benjamin Herrera who received 50 votes and Billy “Bill” Tindall who received 48 votes.
John Wade McGrand and David Priour were elected directors of Water Control and Improvement District No. 2 in Placedo. McGrand received 31 votes, and Priour received 25.
A third candidate, Linda Hoffer, received 23 votes.
Bobby Shafer and Richard Reyes were elected directors of the Quail Creek Municipal Utility District. Shafer received 73 votes and Reyes received 68.
They beat Charles T. Miller , who received 46 votes, and Dustin Ferguson, who received 32 votes.
Residents of the Quail Creek MUD also voted down a proposition to increase miscellaneous charges by $5 per month. Of the 146 voters, 72 voted for and 74 voted against the measure.
