Texas Football tour to make stop in Port Lavaca on Wednesday

The 2008 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football magazine tour will stop in Port Lavaca on Wednesday.Texas Football’s editor-in-chief Dave Campbell is expected to attend the tour, which will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Red Hummingbird Photography Studio at 202 E. Main St.
Calhoun was ranked No. 7 in the magazine’s Class 4A poll and the Sandcrabs will open the 2008 season against Mercedes in the 10th Annual Texas Football Classic on Saturday, Aug. 30 at 7:30 p.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Texas Football magazine is expected to go on sale Monday.
