AUSTIN – Senior Miranda Orr shot a one-under par 71 on Friday to help Texas A&M stay in the hunt for a berth to the NCAA Championships.

Orr, a Memorial graduate, was tied for 56th individual at the NCAA Women’s Golf Central Regional with a two-day 154 going into today’s final round at the UT Golf Club.

The top eight teams, as well as the top two individuals not on those teams, earn spots to the NCAA Championship on May 20-23 in Albuquerque.

A&M (295-302-597) and Alabama (304-293-597) are tied for sixth, three shots ahead of eighth-place Nebraska (600) and five ahead on ninth-place LSU (602).

UCLA leads the way at 576 followed by Purdue (582) and TCU (585). Texas State is 16th at 616.
