I’m not talking Louis Vuitton clutches or ’70s retro wear, this vintage is 18th-century chic. It’s just one of the events Bart Wales, who began as the new co-director for the Refugio County Museum April 1, is planning. REFUGIO – When one library closes another opens. Ranging reporter Christina Burke talked with Sharon Baugh, library director at the Dennis O’Connor public library on Thursday. REFUGIO – Robert Bolcik won the Refugio County Democratic Party nomination for sheriff. Robert Bolcik received 50.99 percent of the votes, while challenger Dean Ochoa received 41.79 percent. The third candidate, Joel Bear Jr., came in third with 7.22 percent of the votes. more >>
