Buck and Alma Hawes of Victoria celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on March 15, 2008, at Raisin L Ranch with a dinner and dance. This special occasion reunited family and special friends they have met throughout their life together.
Alma Drouin and Lloyd "Buck" Hawes were married on March 15, 1958, at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Port Lavaca.
Children of the couple are Gary and Diana Rigamonti, Tom and Arlene Hawes, and David and Stephanie Hawes. Grandchildren of the couple are Ryan Rigamonti, Jamie Hawes, Sean Hawes, Sarah Hawes, and Shannon Hawes.
Buck is a former maintenance supervisor for Alcoa and spends his free time in Port O'Connor. Alma is a former office manager for Dr. Juan Posada and ministers at local nursing homes in the Victoria area."
