Lillian and Max Mayer celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on March 5, 2008, with a family dinner at the couples home.
The event was hosted by their children.
Lillian Dorothy Bitterly and Max Mayer were married on March 5, 1943, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Meyersville.
Children of the couple are Dolores Tibiletti, John Mayer, Maxine Hawes, Annette Luedecke, Kenneth Mayer and Elaine Mayer. The couple have 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. "
