50th Anniversary James and Leoti Stiles Bennett were honored on their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception held at the Fellowship Hall of the First Christian Church in Victoria on March 30, 2008. Jim and Leoti were married at First Christian Church in Victoria on March 29, 1958. The Rev. Roy Tomlinson officiated the ceremony. Their wedding reception was the first held at the newly opened Victoria Women's Clubhouse. Their children are the late Thomas W. Bennett, John Lee Bennett, James W. Bennett Jr., Stephen W. (Lloy) Bennett, Benjamin S. (Holly) Bennett, Leoti Ann Bennett, Melisa Bennett Sharp and Cynthia Bennett (Mark) Meadows. They are grandparents of 13 grandchildren and have three great grandchildren. Hosts for the event were James W. Bennett Jr., and his son James W. Bennett III."
