Sherrill and Connie Rester of Lolita announce the engagement of their daughter, Cassie Dawn Rester of La Salle, to Dustin Clay Tomanek of Victoria, son of Larry and Kathy Tomanek of Victoria. The couple will marry at 4 p.m. on June 7, 2008, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Ganado. Cassie is a 1999 graduate of Industrial High School and a 2004 graduate of the University of Houston-Victoria with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is employed by Industrial Elementary East as a third grade Teacher. Clay is a 1999 graduate of St. Joseph High School and attended Victoria College. He is employed by K&T Construction in Victoria as a Project Supervisor. "
