Gene and Sharon Finney III of Cuero announce the engagement of their daughter, Sharon Ann Finney of Victoria, to Arlin Wayne Mayfield Jr. of Victoria, son of Arlin and JoAnn Mayfield Sr., and Fred and Stephanie Adams, all of Victoria. The couple will marry June 23, 2008, in a small ceremony aboard a private yacht in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Sharon is a 1997 graduate of Cuero High School and a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M with a Bachelors of Science in Health. She is employed by Victoria Memorial High School as the head athletic trainer. Arlin is a 1997 graduate of Cuero High School and attended Victoria College. He is employed by Discount Tire in Austin as a store manager. "
