Lisa Parker and John Youngblood, both of Austin, were married March 29, 2008 at Forest Creek Country Club in Round Rock. Rev. Tom Goodman officiated the double-ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of J.D. and Judy Parker of Cuero. She is the granddaughter of Raymond and Estelle Brister of Nixon, Kathryn Parker of Cuero, and Jake Parker of Cuero. The groom is the son of J. Robert "Skip" and Bonnie McKenzie of Kerrville and the late John K. Youngblood. He is the grandson of Jeanette Howell of Deer Park and the late William Howell, Elizabeth Smith Tribble of Beaumont and the late Bob Tribble, and O.B. Youngblood of Buna. Bridesmaids were Amber Parker Vogt, Rachel Parker Longoria and Tina Parker. Brandon Whittle, Mark Norris and Tommy Addison served as groomsmen. Ushers were John McKenzie, Charles Szar, Randy Longoria and Casey Vogt. A reception was held following the ceremony at Forest Creek Country Club in Round Rock. Following wedding travel to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple will reside in Austin. The bride is a 1995 graduate of Cuero High School, a 2000 graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Administration, and a 2005 graduate of Austin Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. She is employed by Seton Medical Center in Austin as a Registered Nurse in Oncology. John is a 1993 graduate of Deer Park High School and a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. He is employed by Zarlink Semiconductor in Austin as a Software Engineer."
