A: The Family Fish-Out will be on Saturday at Ethel Lee Tracy Park, which is located on Larkspur Street behind the Victoria Mall. This free fishing experience begins at 8 a.m. until noon. Over 800 pounds of channel catfish will be stocked early that morning. Academy is co-sponsoring the event this year and is donating a kayak to be given away. The winner must be present to win and will have to register. Academy will be giving away other items throughout the day. Prizes will be awarded for longest, smallest and most fish caught. You will not need a fishing license for the event. Come out to the Family Fish-Out and enjoy a fun filled morning of fishing.

Q: When is the best time for roses to bloom in the Rose Garden?
A: The best time to see the roses blooming at the Rose Garden is during one of two incredible blooming periods –April and October. The roses are nearing their peak blooming period for the spring. Come on out to Riverside Park and smell the roses. Remember to leave the roses for others to enjoy.
