Different types of waste have separate collection days

Q: You mentioned Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day and E-Waste Day in recent columns. What is the difference between the two events? A: That is a very good question and the two events can be a little confusing. The biggest difference is that Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day was established as a way for residents to get rid of hazardous chemicals around the home.
