Girl Scout Volunteer Training is for adults who would like to work with Girl Scouts ages 5-17 years old in 2009-10.
Volunteers with primary responsibility for working with girls must be trained for the position they will assume.
Training is divided into two categories: Leadership Essentials and Level. Leadership Essentials Training includes a course on the new Girl Scout Leadership Experience and Pathways-volunteer opportunities in Girl Scouting. Level classes go beyond the basics and help enhance the volunteer's interaction with the girls.
