On Friday, League City resident and veteran teacher Jeff Cherry will officially launch his 2009 campaign to capture the Republican nomination and win election to Congress as Texas Congressional District 14’s representative.
The kick-off will occur at Walter Hall Park in League City from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Crave Café will provide barbeque and other food at $25 per person and $35 per two people, respectively.
