The Calhoun County Quilt Guild will be hosting their Annual Free Quilt Show on Saturday November 7 and Sunday November 8 from 10:00AM to 4:00PM at the Bauer Community Center in Port Lavaca.
Members will be displaying a variety of quilts, hand quilted and machine quilted. There will also be wall hangings, wearable arts, and other fine stitchery. Viewers will vote on a "People's Choice" award in four categories: Quilts, Quilted Wall Hangings, Wearables, and Decorative Items.
Tickets will be available for a full size quilt "TEXAS GLORY" constructed by CCQG members and hand quilted by Phyllis McClendon. Ticket prices are $1.00 ea or 6 for $5.00.
