An exhibit of altars (ofrendas)--curated by John Moraida--created by local artists and families that commemorates loved ones, including photos, brilliant flowers, art work, and often the honored person's favorite food or drink. Also on display will be Day of the Dead projects from local children participating in the Manhattan Art Program, as well as a Silent Auction of Retablos, small devotional folk-art pieces available in many styles that are lovingly created by Victoria-area artists and highly detailed.
