WHAT: Dream Big STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Expo. Students will meet with VISD guidance counselors and college advisors and visit with industry experts about employment opportunities.
WHEN: 9-11 a.m., noon-2 p.m., Jan. 23-24 and 5:30-7:30 p.m.
WHERE: VISD Conference Center, Liberty Academy, 2909 Miori Lane. Participating students will be transported to the location.
WHO: Victoria Business & Education Coalition, Victoria College, University of Houston-Victoria, Victoria Independent School District, Victoria Fire Department, Victoria Police Department, and area businesses. Vendors and representatives from Caterpillar, Invista, Alcoa and Formosa Plastics will offer 15 minute presentations.
Information technology, welding, and physical therapy will also offer 15-minute presentations.
