  • How do I add an event to the Calendar?

    To add an event to the Calendar, navigate to the Entertainment section of our website and click the "Event Calendar" link in the purple bar. On the next page, you should see a listing of events for today and a big blue button that reads "Add Your Event". Click that button, fill out and submit the following form to add your event to the Calendar.

    The best way to suggest a story for the paper is to either send an email to newsroom@vicad.com or call the Newsroom directly at (361) 574-1222.

  • How do I put a photo of someone in the paper with a few lines of text about them?

    Readers are encouraged to submit photos online by clicking on the "Upload a Photo" link in the pink bar at the top of the Photos & Videos section. One photo is randomly selected to run in the A2 section of the paper every day, and two photos are randomly selected to run in Section E on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

  • How do I find "X" story on your website?

    The best way to quickly locate a story on our website is to use the search feature that is located at the top-right of every page. If you know the name of the article or reporter who wrote the article, type it in the search field and click go.
