  • Thank you so much for your service, sir. You and all people who serve or have served in the military are my heroes! My dad served in the European theater during WWII. I was 3 years old when he came home and I remember the day vividly.

  • Thank you to Mr. Lockey for sharing his story with readers. Pearl Harbor is one of those events that have a special place in the history of our country as being life altering. I am sure that the memories and horrors of that day have haunted the hearts and minds of those who witnessed it ever since...and it must be very hard to bring it out and speak of it. What a service it does to especially the younger generations to have these memories brought back to mind...like 9-11, Pearl Harbor was a jolt to Americans that we are not beyond the scope of being attacked and that our freedom and our country are worth fighting for.
