A man was trapped in a high lift on a grain elevator in El Toro about 5 p.m. Tuesday, said Andy Louderbeck, Jackson County sheriff.

The Victoria Fire Department was called to the scene and used its high lift fire truck to rescue the man. He was then taken to Citizens Medical Center in Victoria to be examined.
