A: It’s putting them out of business. I personally depend on the Internet for all my news. It’s faster, quicker, and easier. It goes in-depth when it needs to and also uses video. I take the Advocate, but I only read it on-line.
Charlie Greenlee, retired, Victoria
A: I spend about an hour and a half to two hours a day on the Internet basically reading current news, weather and fishing reports. I also read the Advocate thoroughly every morning.
Scotty Lanier, retired, Victoria
A: I miss looking at an actual newspaper. There’s more news on the Web, but there’s something relaxing about looking at a paper. But the Web allows you to look further into the news you see on television or read.
George Waring, retired, Friendswood
A: It’s faster. You don’t have to sit through commercials to wait and find things out.
Sean Daily, security officer, Victoria
