“Brehham Banner” Survivors of Green’s Brigade Association to the number of 85 met at Victoria last week in their 25th annual reunion and were accorded a warm-hearted, genial welcome by the hospitable citizens of that hustling progressive little city and were royally entertained by them during their stay. Never were those old veterans extended a more warm-hearted, patriotic reception and entertainment than that extended them by the members of the William P. Rogeres Chapter U.D.C., and the William R. Scurry Camp of the United Confederate Veterans. Comrades C. A. Leuschner and G. A. Levi were untiring in their effort to make us feel at home while in Victoria. Mesdames Wheeler, Brownson, Vanderberge, Pridham, Miss Potter and many other ladies whose names we cannot now recall, have the thanks of the writer for many courtesies extended him while in Victoria.
