Commander Juan M. Garcia III, of Corpus Christi, will take command of Training Squadron VT-28 SAU in the fall. Garcia is a state representative for District 32, which includes Calhoun County. He continues to serve as an instructor pilot in the Naval Reserves. He is one of three members of the Texas Legislature still serving in the U.S. military.
