VICTORIA – A 20-year-old Victoria man by officers Saturday on suspicion of assault causing bodily injury and family violence. The man is accused of punching his live-in girlfriend twice in the back, once in the ribs and pushing her.

VICTORIA – Brenda Ann Villarreal, 39, of Victoria by officers Saturday, on a warrant charging her with forgery to defraud or harm of another from the Port Lavaca Police Department. During the arrest, officers found what is believed to be marijuana in her front pocket. Villarreal was additionally charged with possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.

VICTORIA – A 29-year-old Victoria man by officers Sunday on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, possession of less than two ounces of marijuana in a drug-free zone, and unlawful carrying of a weapon. Officers found a Walter P-99 .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol with a full magazine concealed in the center console of the vehicle.
