Does the sheriff’s department have anything better to do than to chase these illegal immigrants? They break down my fences. Then they don’t have the courtesy to fix my fences. I think that the sheriff’s department should have something better to do.

For those who think that immigration doesn’t effect them: Economist Ed Rubenstein, an expert on government waste, reported April 9 that the federal price tag for the year 2000 was $346 billion. This comes to $9,000 for each taxpayer. This does include cost of state and local governments.

Nobody likes it, but water rates are going to have to go up in Victoria County and the city about $40 dollars a year. Regardless of what we think about it. It is the only way that we are going to be able to save our water.
