Four girls are vying for the title of Miss Victoria 2008 in Saturday’s Miss Victoria Pageant.

The pageant will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday in the Leo J. Welder Center for the Performing Arts.

Also to be crowned are Little Miss, Young Miss and Junior Miss.

Gary Moses will serve as emcee.

The candidates are:

Little Miss

1. Jillian Brooks,7, the daughter of David and Christina Brooks, is a second grader at DeLeon Elementary School.

2. Jamara Burmeister, 6, the daughter of Tammi and Jason Burmeister, is a first grader at Faith Academy.

3. Julia Grace Clark, 5, the daughter of Rachel and Rodney Clark, is a first grader at Chandler Elementary School.

4. Kennedy Dudley,4, the daughter of Marise and Bryan Dudley, is a pre-kindergartner at First United Methodist Day School.

5. Jayne Catherine Eaves, 7, the daughter of Julie Bauknight and M.P. “Dexter” Eaves, is a second grader at Nazareth Academy.

6. Sadie Ann Eichler,6, the daughter of Christie and Steven Eichler, is a first grader at Aloe Elementary School.

7. Audrey Grace Garrett,5, the daughter of Joni and Kirby Garrett, is a kindergartner at Northside Baptist School.

8. Diamond Aaliyah Nunez, 4, the daughter of Beatrice Sanchez and Floyd Nunez Jr., is a pre-schooler at Depot Head Start.

9. Caitlin Nichole Serenil, 7, the daughter of Veronica and Eddie Serenil, is a second grader at DeLeon Elementary School.

Young Miss

10. Sophia Broughton,9, the daughter of Lara and Gary Broughton, is a fourth grader at Vickers Elementary School.

11. Jillian Paige Chapa, 9, the daughter of Nicky A. and Orlando Chapa, is a fourth grader at Nazareth Academy.

12. Allison Kate Clark, 10, the daughter of Rachel and Rodney Clark, is a fifth grader at Chandler Elementary School.

13. Jillian Evans, 9, the daughter of Rose and William Evans, is a fourth grader at Vickers Elementary School.

14. Lauren Louise Garrett, 8, the daughter of Joni and Kirby Garrett, is a third grader at Dudley Elementary Magnet School.

15. Saige Marie Mclarty, 9, the daughter of Natalie and Travis Mclarty, is a fourth grader at Mission Valley Elementary School.

Junior Miss

16. Sarah Eaves, 12, the daughter of Julie Bauknight and M.P. “Dexter” Eaves, is an eighth grader at Nazareth Academy.

17. Kayla Michelle Headley, 13, the daughter of Heather and A.J. Linville, is an eighth grader at Cuero Junior High School.

18. Laney Hempel, 12, the daughter of Lisa and Donnie Hempel, is a seventh grader at Patti Welder Magnet Middle School.

19. Bailey Danielle Kulhanek, 14, the daughter of Lisa and J.B. Kulhanek, is a ninth grader at Profit Magnet School.

20. Hunter Nicole Slusher, 12, the daughter of Karen and Jeff Slusher, is a seventh grader at Industrial Junior High School.

21. Devon Bennett, 16, the daughter of Nancy and Mace Bennett, is a junior at Memorial High School.

22. Kaylee Rae Flanagan, 17, the daughter of Brenda J. Flanagan and Brian Hurst, is a senior at Memorial High School.

23. Mellisa Anne Schroeder, 19, the daughter of Mary Schroeder and Michael Schroeder, is a sophomore at The Victoria College.

24. Dresdynn Warnell,17, the daughter of Delores Warnell-Fillmore and Donald Warnell, is a senior at Memorial High School.
