Editor, the Advocate:

With all the news lately about the former sheriff and the rehashing of the fatal trailer ride for the people who died trying to get to Houston, some good news has been somewhat overlooked.

There was a story in the Advocate about the opening of the control tower at the Victoria Regional Airport, but I’ve seen nothing of a follow up. The tower seems to be a fabulous success. Since it opened, there has not been a single fatal plane crash at the airport. Keep up the good work, guys.

    tstorm5 I agree with you, Big Ed's has the nicest people in this town working there. They've never been rude to anyone I know and they do excellent work. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else. So Kudos to Big Ed and his crew!!!
