A boaters safety course for personal watercraft and boat operators has been scheduled for Saturday at the Coleto Creek Reservoir Park. The class will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The course fulfills the requirements for the mandatory boater education legislation. anyone born after Sept. 1, 1984 is required to have the certification to operate a vessel by themselves.

Enrollment is limited and those interested should call Charles F. Schons at 361-575-8600 to pre-register.
