NEW BRAUNFELS - Timmy Gleinser hit two home runs leading Victoria Northeast to a 12-4 Section 4, 10- and 11-year-olds win over New Braunfels on Saturday.

Ramiro Garcia and Cole Urban also hit homers in the game, while Alec Westfall picked up the win for Victoria.

Northeast plays today at 8 p.m. against Gregory-Portland.

Victoria Northeast won 9-3 over Yoakum on Saturday in New Braunsfels to advance to play Lamar today at 8 p.m.

    I think Mr Cavazos should be a leader and suggest just 2 zones. It will help the new school zones as well. I know the other towns will not vote for it but Victoria could use the city championship as the metro tourney ( good practice time for the allstar teams) then the small towns can still play thier own tourney to advance to play Victoria then sectionals. Just a thought.

    Its not to win but to develop the kids and biuld a west and east pool of talent. And yes it would work but the boards gotta see the future and share thier power.

  • Thanks Victoria Advocate for reporting these scores. The Little League Website that contains the tournament brackets for these games is reporting the same exact scores for both tournaments.
