One-year-old Alexis Flores died after a 2003 white Hummer H2 ran over him, according to the Victoria Police Department’s traffic accident report.

At 4:01 p.m. on Thursday, a 19-year-old man from Victoria pulled forward from vacuuming his sport utility vehicle when its front and rear tires rolled over the child, who was playing at the Lone Star Car Wash with his brother while their parents washed their sedan.

The child was taken to Citizens Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 4:31 p.m.
