I would be nice if Bill from Beeville would try to know what he is talking about before he speaks out. I don’t care for George Bush, and I don’t like Cheney, and I am not very popular with the O’Connors right now either. Try knowing what you are talking about for a change.

I just want to know, where do we sign up for the flight to nowhere? Have we spent all that money for the defense of our local councilmen and sheriff and politicians. I want to get on that airplane flight to nowhere.

I do not believe Texas should offer public school students an elective course on the Bible. Such a course would be overseen by well-meaning teachers, but any instructor would necessarily be dictated at least in some manner in answering questions in his or her religious preferences. Keep the Bible out of the classrooms. By the way, the word Bible should carry a small “b” in its spelling.

My opinion is absolutely yes, we should offer a Bible course as an elective in schools. I am very excited to read about it in the article in the paper.

Yes I do think that Texas should offer a Bible course as an elective. I think that they should have done this a long time ago. I think that it will help our public schools as far as discipline goes.
