Return to the moon? For what? God made the universe to remind us how great he is. The only time we’ll be able to explore it is when we die, and then we won’t need a space suit

Remember Beulah: Tore a house up at El Toro. A woman found herself in a kitchen sink on a railroad track. These tornados come out of the blue sky, and they are serious. I don’t know how many we had that day; maybe 28. Take the storm seriously.

Of course I am not prepared for Dolly. I am as disorganized as the storm usually is itself. We have never left our Woodsboro home in 57 years and some 25 hurricanes. This possibly foolish admission tells all just how much I know as to preparedness. I never know what to do when, so I stoically punt.
