On religion in public schools: Sure, open the doors to Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, besides Christ. Violate the Constitution. It is ridiculous.

I think drug testing in schools will deter teen drug abuse the same way abstinence-only programs stopped promiscuity among our youth. Stop wasting our taxes.

An elective world religions y course would be a more well-rounded education than just a Bible study class. I think that it will also encourage a better understanding of what spirituality is in the world.

Teaching Bible classes in public schools is not going to be good. Different Christian faiths have different beliefs of what a scripture means. This will only confuse children. The teachers may not even be Christians, and I wouldn’t want them teaching my child a Bible class. The government doesn’t need to be involved in religion. It has even removed prayer from pubic schools. Come on people, Bible classes don’t belong in public schools.

I want to speak out about the rent Victoria apartments are charging. It’s outrageous. These apartment complexes are very old, and they want $750 a month for a two-bedroomt.

I would like to know how a single woman with a child is supposed to make it with one job?

They are going to have to get three or four jobs just to pay the rent.

It’s a real shame that some people think that every story has to be so serious.

Keep it up Aprill, I think your style of writing is great.

It’s always a fun read.

Let the straight-necked folks hop all they want.

Keep it up.

I think that I agree with Jimmy from Hallettsville.

I was reading where the judge from San Antonio was coming in to do the Ratcliff trial.

I think that Ratcliff should get prison time.

He is no different than anybody else, so why not?

It may sound funny, in a way, but do you know that we have got tornado chasers from Oklahoma already in Port Mansfield.

These people are crazy.

Jalapenos in a can, if you don’t know it, become hotter in the can than they do on the store shelf. They lose their heat on the store shelf. Nobody is going to stop eating jalapenos.
