The Victoria Unit of the Adult Probation Department provides a number of services to the community, among those are the Victim Restitution Program and the Community Service Restitution Program. These programs provide vital services to the community.

The Victim Restitution Program is a service provided when the court orders a defendant to pay restitution to the victim for the loss they have suffered. During May and June, $56,941.27 was collected by the department and dispensed to 78 victims.

The Community Service Restitution Program is a service where defendants are ordered by the court to perform work for a non-profit group, church, school or a part of government. During May and June, the program provided 17,307.30 hours of volunteer service, worth $89,132.60, to the community.
