A story on Page A1 Sunday, July 20, reported that Fernando De Leon Jr. was charged in a 1983 shootout with police. He was indicted on attempted murder charges, but was acquitted. Marcus De Leon Garza was also charged, but all charges were dropped against him. De Leon was not involved in the July 18 drug bust.
