Editor, the Advocate:

I would like to know who is responsible for getting debris out of the road. I have been seeing a lot of debris such as blown-out tires, metal and glass from wrecks, boards, dead animals, etc. I know this is something that happens, but I have noticed that the same debris just stays in the same place for weeks on end. I thought there was someone who was responsible for getting this stuff off the road. I have run over a board that has been on the Houston Highway in front of the Airport for the past week. I am afraid I am going to have a flat tire or someone is going to have a wreck trying to avoid hitting this stuff. What happened to drive clean across Texas or Don’t mess with Texas because what I am seeing is a mess.
