Editor, the Advocate:
A few weeks ago I was at the mall and then went home. A little later, my doorbell rang. The lady asked me my name and told me that she had found my billfold with driver’s license, credit cards, etc. at the mall and had been looking for me for quite a while — in the phone book, etc. She then decided to drive to the address on the license. I was so shocked , I only gave her a hug and thanked her. I am so sorry I did not get this “Angel’s” name to publicly thank her. You were truly the Good Samaritan. I hope that I will be able to “pay it forward” to someone in need in the future. Thank you again.

it may not be unusual to some but it nice to know that there are still honest people out there. Thank you to the "Angel" it will come back to you too!!! You are one of kind.
July 28, 2008 at 5:35 p.m.A returneed wallet is really not unusual. In the past 45 years I've had one returned twice. Once from an outdoor streetfair and the other a casino in Las Vegas. My huusband has also had his returned twice and our daughter once and it was mailed to her from NY. Humankind is not all bad.
