Victoria Crime Stoppers and the Victoria Police Department are looking for an 18-year-old Victoria man who is wanted for stealing a gun in September.

Justin Taylor Stroud is a white man who is 6 feet tall and weighs about 150 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes.

As of Monday, Stroud has an outstanding warrant for theft of a firearm, a state jail felony. Stroud is accused of stealing a handgun from a vehicle in September 2007.

The general public should never attempt to capture, arrest or detain any wanted person. It should also be known that it is against the law to harbor, hide or assist a wanted person with avoiding arrest.

Anyone with information about Justin Taylor Stroud is asked to call the 24-hour Victoria Crime Stoppers tip line at 361-572-4200 or contact us through our Web site: victoria.crimestoppersweb.com. All tipsters remain anonymous. Victoria Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information leads to his arrest.
