Editor, the Advocate:

To some of the people who attended SlapFest III on Sunday and left all of their trash behind: Shame on you! We have such a beautiful park; it’s a shame that some people in this community choose to abuse it. It’s nice that you came out to support the local music scene, but why not try supporting the environment as well?

Before you go jumping to any conclusions, let it be known that it wasn’t the local “punk kids” who left the mess. We all managed to dispose of our trash (as well as others) in one of the many trash cans set up around the area. Just want to set the record straight before anyone goes pointing their fingers at an undeserving group! Is it really too much to ask that people clean up after themselves?
