FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Victoria’s Sarah Davis struggled Tuesday, but held on toe second place at the American Junior Golf Association’s Arkansas Junior at Blessing golf tournament.

Davis had three bogeys and a birdie to go with a triple bogey to finish at 6-over 78 for a two-day 151. she finished seven shots back of first-round leader and winner Julie Yang (72-72) of Phoenix, Ariz.

Davis triple bogeyed the par-3 fifth hole after coming off her lone birdie of the day at the par-4 fourth at Blessings Golf Course.

Haley Sanders of Rogers, Ark., who started the day two back of Davis, failed to make a move after an identical 78 and finished third.
