Police, Rangers search for escaped Fayette inmate

Police are looking for a Fayette County inmate after he escaped from jail Sunday morning, Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek said in a press release.

The release states that 44-year-old Patrick Scott Bigelow, in jail on robbery charges, forcefully grabbed the keys to his cell from a female correctional officer before fleeing the premises.

Police believe Bigelow, who is white with dark hair and blue eyes, had help in escape and was provided with a get-away vehicle.

Currently, the sheriff’s office and the Texas Rangers are working together to locate Bigelow.
