Editor, the Advocate:
First, do you get to read what goes into the paper before it goes to press?
Second, do you check the accuracy of content of your guest columnists? CIA, IRS, lawsuits against the U.S. government?
Third, why in the hell was Hal von Luebbert’s column run in the same issue of the Advocate’s Sunday edition, as the feature of the “Fatal Funnel” recapping events of the tragedy five years ago?
The Advocate is the only newspaper available to our area now that the San Antonio Express News and Houston Chronicle have stopped their circulation to the Crossroads area. Print real news, real concerns, not this stuff.

I agree with the orignial poster, there is no news of any importance being printed in this paper anymore. When those illegals got in that van they were illegal, I don't feel the least bit sorry for them. And to constanly replay this bores me to tears. At least with the option of out of town papers we could stay informed of state events and get much more informed opinions. Its to bad that the Thrifty Nickle doesn't print death notices, it's nearly twice the paper that the advocate is.
