Bay City soldier's body will come home Monday; funeral will be this week

BAY CITY – The body of Army Specialist David McCormick, who was killed while serving in Iraq on Monday, April 28, will arrive at the Bay City Airport this morning about 9:30 a.m. McCormick’s body will come by military escort.

A procession will leave the airport north on Farm to Market 2540 and turn East on Highway 35 toward Bay City Funeral Home at 2205 Avenue K.

The McCormick family has extended an invitation to the entire community to come and show its love for David.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday and funeral services will be at 4 p.m. Friday.
