Editor, the Advocate:

Last Saturday, my husband, Tim, and I were honored to participate in Warrior's Weekend. We took our wounded soldier, his wife and young son fishing, and a fabulous time was had by all.

Thanks to Ron Kocian, Carl Bludau, Bobby Edwards, the wonderful people of Port O'Conner, countless sponsors and volunteers for such an amazing event. It was really heartwarming to see everyone smiling, laughing, and just having a blast.

We truly felt honored to be a part of this gratifying show of support for our troops. Thanks to everyone involved for making this possible.
