A man riding a motorcycle was taken to Citizens Medical Center after he was in a wreck shortly after 5 p.m.

The man was driving east on Conti Lane near North Main Street, and a truck was stopped in the opposite lane, getting ready to make a left turn into the parking lot of Las Palmas Mexican Cafe.

“I’m still trying to figure out what caused it,” said Officer Robbie Moorish. “Something hit the truck. I don’t know if it was the driver and the motorcycle or just the driver.”

Moorish did not know the motorcycle driver’s name, age or condition.
