Editor, the Advocate:

I am truly sorry for the young man who was injured in baseball. But I do not understand why the bat company is being sued. Surely the coach, manager, trainer, of the Little League team is at fault. How can a company be blamed when a person is clearly at fault. Did the manager know these bats were against Little League rules? Try suing Smith and Wesson when you are shot. It will be laughed out of court.

But it is good to see that tort reform has not reached places like New Jersey, yet. Somehow doctors shoved it through the state house here and managed to make laws where they literally get a away with killing someone, I know. My wife was a victim of negligence and uncaring mercenary doctors. But since they are the Gods of modern Victoria, all I got was a "Too bad, so sad," from the uncovicted felons who perpetrated the horror that I am going through. Even the lawyers are afraid of the doctors, not to mention a large grocery store. Only my First Amendment rights were abrogated. My wife's life was forfeited because of careless medical people.

As tragic as this young man's situation is, to blame a company for the misuse of its product is absurd.
