Editor, the Advocate:

We would like to send out praise to all who took part in making "Sightfest," the benefit for Paden McDonald, successful. We were amazed that so many came together in love and support for him. To the cooks who were up way before the crack of dawn, those who baked, made plates, filled tea cups, took deliveries, ran errands, organized auctions, handed out door prizes, worked concessions, sold tickets, decorated, loaned ice chests and/or roasters, participated in our beauty-less pageant, donated auction/raffle items and/or money and time, if you gave advice, bought tickets, bid in our auctions, worked security, and cleaned up. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day as our goal was not just to raise money for Paden but to have fun throughout the process. It was a joint effort of family, friends, co-workers and generous strangers that made this fundraiser a hit.
