I agree with the courts decision in the polygamists case. The CPS should be charged with child endangerment and arrested. The children had a place to live, they didn’t need to be removed. Where was our state attorney general?

I do not agree with the decision on the polygamist case with the judge because I think that the kids need to be taken out of that place.

Jesus, Mohammed and Buddha’s mission was to spread the word of unbiased love, respect and unceasing care for our fellow man. Using religious text to push your own hateful agenda is the true meaning of using the Lord’s name in vain. The Bible also states that it is also OK to own slaves and beat them. But, that’s not exactly common practice now, is it? God bless you.

No, I don’t agree with the court’s decision in the polygamist case because CPS finally was doing their job to protect a lot of children. Now, because of a legal technicality, these kids will go back to what we do know as a fact: They are being sexually abused by older men.

I am not happy at all with the messing up of the streets on Red River. They should finish with the ones over here on Lone Tree before they start any other street.

Why does Sheriff O’Connor move his deputies around so much? People don’t trust deputies that they don’t know. It is causing more crime instead of less crime.

The Bible says it is wrong for gay marriage, but who wrote the Bible? It wasn’t God. It was man. I’m sorry, man makes mistakes.

It is difficult to believe, but as one of only seven living WWII veterans in Woodsboro, I was privileged to be the guest speaker at the Woodsboro Veterans ceremonial observance Sunday on the town square. It was a quite meaningful, tender, but determined tribute to the dead and living ex-servicemen of the fine little town of Woodsboro.

The medal of honor winner Ross McGinnis who jumped on a hand grenade to save the life of fellow soldier gets the bottom of Saturday’s front page. The minimum wage gets top billing on the front page in Monday’s paper. Something is very, very wrong with this newspaper.

I live approximately eight miles north of town on Highway 77. I am calling in regards to the Advocate carrier. Eighty percent of the time my paper is late. Almost every weekend, I have to call the Advocate to get my paper. Getting Saturday’s paper on Sunday is not acceptable. At my place of employment, if a man continually had a problem of not doing his job properly, he would be terminated after a few warnings.

I think that if Victoria is going to charge outstanding amounts for rent and housing, then the pay should go up. They want this city to be like Houston, and charge out of the rear-end, and I think that is terrible. It is ridiculous.

To avoid taxes, too, I think the oil and Internet companies should set up as Christian, or Jehovah or Ala oil, or food or medicine, and use some child labor.

At the age of 82, I am looking forward to a vacation this summer, this winter, next summer and next winter and the summer after that and the winter after that, the summer after that final one and the winter after that one.

With gasoline over $3 a gallon and looks like maybe headed to over $4 a gallon, I can’t begin to tell you how excited I am about the prospect that we’ll also get to pay tolls to drive on Rick Perry’s toll roads throughout Texas. I really, really hope that the Texas Legislature has the intestinal fortitude to put a stop to Perry’s Trans-Texas Corridor.

I’m calling regarding the question about minimum wage. Yes, I do think that it should be much higher. I think that it should be at least $8 an hour because of the rising cost of living.

Roger Hernandez is so backwards it’s not funny. How can you even equate Osama Bin Laden with Reagan? It’s just unthinkable. It’s an insult to anyone with an intelligence. The only things that he is preaching is so far backwards, he has got his face to the audience who has got their face away from his so they can’t even see the terrorists with a gun on one side of his head and the sword on the other side of his neck.
