GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Hagerstown Community College (Md.) scored in every inning but two Wednesday to eliminate Alvin Community College from the NCJAA World Series.

Hagerstown scored eight runs through the first five innings en route to an 11-9 win over Alvin.

Alvin dropped a 10-8 decision to Grayson Community College on Tuesday in the double-elimination tournament.

Former Memorial Viper Mark Hudson went 3-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run for Alvin in the Hagerstown loss. His brother, Drew, started and worked 1 2/3 innings allowing three runs on three hits and four walks with one strikeout.
