Flatonia will seek its first berth in the state baseball tournament since 1993 when it returns to Fireman’s Park in Brenham today to complete its best-of-three game Class 1A regional final series against Granger.

Flatonia (23-5-1) captured a 7-0 decision in Game 1 on Thursday night and can wrap up the series with a win in Game 2, which begins at 5 p.m. If Granger (23-9) wins Game 2, Game 3 will follow.

Dakota Pinney pitched a five-hitter and Brandon Williams had two hits to lead the Bulldogs in Game 1.
